Mangka Mayanglambam is an artist famous for classical and contemporary tunes. She was Born on the 27th of July, 1996 in Manipur. She is a skilled musician who plays the Pena, a traditional stringed instrument of Manipur. Manaka is famous for her dedication to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Manipuri folk music.
She made her debut with the album Marhak Jamalo Di in 1998. Her popular tracks are Hada Samadon Ayangba, Nura Pakhang Chingda Satpi, RaRaReHei. She is not only accomplished in the field of music but also pursued acting, gracing the silver screen in films such as Dil Sada Luteya Gya, Mitro - Mitro, Mohabbtan Sachiyan Ne, and Eh Dil Da Mamala Hai.
Mangka achieved an award as the first solo performer to represent India at the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union Radio Song Festival held in Colombo in 2014. She is famous as the youngest 'A' grade folk singer at All India Radio Imphal and has been honored with various awards, including the prestigious State Icon Award in Manipur. She was nominated for the Kerala State Film Award for Best Child Artist. She also got the best supporting actress award in 2023. s
