Jaswinder Singh is a well-known Ghazal singer, who was born in Mumbai, India to Kuldip Singh, a famous music director for Hindi movies, who composed Ghazals like Itni Shakti Hame De Na Daata. He is also a classical singer, trained under Dr Sushila Pohankar and the Indian classical vocalist, Maestro Pandit Ajay Pohankar. In the year 2001, Jagjit introduced him to the world of Ghazal through his debut album, Aage Aage Dekhiye.
