He was bor >> Read More... ) was born on 15th April 1922; he was raised in Punjab. He is a renowned singer in the Hindi Film Industry. He has sung around 2000+songs and worked on 350 films in a long journey as career as lyricist for the Hindi films. He has also written several books of Hindu and Urdu poetry. His lyrics were straightforward and authentic. He won the hearts of fans with his outstanding performances. He was famous for his melodious voice and simplicity. He worked with many directors and gained massive popularity for his work. People still hear his music; he has yielded us a rich treasure of songs. His 1st movie was Bahut Door but was not released. His career as a music director began with Bedard in 1994 along with Mohammed Shafi and Ramprasad. He was super talented and a gentleman. He was passionate about music, his love for music was never-ending. He took his last breath and left us on 17th September 1999.
