Shonaa Gonsalves

Ms. Shona Gonsalves was born on January 8. She hails from Vasai, and currently living in Mumbai. She did her schooling at St. Anthony’s High School and pursued her B.Com from St. Gonsalo Garcia College, Vasai. After that, she visited Mumbai University for further studies. Her mother was a teacher and her father was a businessman. Not being from the music industry, it was absolutely an out-of-the-box thing for her parents, to know about her love for singing. She was quite serious about her passion. She started improving herself rigorously by getting training from Mrs. Sharda Rajan. She is a famous Indian playback singer and Filmfare award recipient. She acts as a trainer, mentor, and motivator for Ms. Shona. Ms. Shona Gonsalves’s professional journey started back in the year of 2007. In her debut, she shared the stage with Bombay Vikings. After that approximately 6000 shows in 13 years.

She also focuses on social media and tries to connect with her fans through virtual mode during the lockdown. Though, she did not find virtual events much more interactive. According to her, the reaction of the crowd is very important during the performance. In her achievement list, she got the All Indian Achievers Award in the year 2011. She also received the best “National Award” in 2012.
