Sumit Saxena is a screenplay writer, dialogue writer, and director. He was born in India. He is known for working as a screenwriter in many Bollywood movies and Hindi series. The documentary Cutting Carbon Footprints, authored by Sumit Saxena, was released in 2010. In addition to writing, he also wrote the dialogue for the 2011 film Pyar Ka Punchnama. For many movies, he worked as a screenwriter and dialogue writer including Prague in 2012, 3G: A Killer Connection (2013), Hamid (2018), and Doctor G (2022).
He was a screenplay writer for series like Lust Stories in 2018 and Ajeeb Daastaans in 2021. As a director, he debuted with the 2017 comedy-drama Rise. He worked on two complete episodes, Take That Road Trip and The Dream Ride of Rise. Later he directed the 2018 Hindi TV series Cheers - Friends. Reunion. Goa.
