Shokhi Banerjee

Shokhi Banerjee was born on 13th May 1992, she began her journey as an aspiring Radio Jockey, and later entered Hindi Cinema as a Screenwriter. She introduces herself as a Creative Producer, a Screenwriter, a Baker and much more. Shokhi shifted to Mumbai to start her career as a writer, beginning as a Producer for a TV serial on Star Plus. Her initial projects included “Sach Ka Samna”, “Saraswati Chandra” and many more. Her writing style often includes a blend of Drama, Humor and emotional twists. She took a switch from writing for TV serials to Indian Cinema with a break from Eros International.

There she got the opportunity to be trained under the guidance of Sridhar Radhwan, one of the best screenwriters in the industry. In her initial years as a writer, she got an opportunity to work on big projects that involved an international star cast as well. Banerjee’s love for writing motivated her enough to write beautiful pieces and pitch them to various production houses. Even after facing some rejection, her gateway to fame opened by Z Studios Production House, where her script for Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari was selected.
