Pradnya was born in Australia. She is an Australian producer and doctor. She holds an MBBS degree from the University of Sydney. She practices as a Radiologist in Sydney, Australia. She is a keen advocate of cinema and Bollywood film culture. She is a passionate storyteller through film creation. She likes to explore cross-culture themes that represent diverse demographics through her creativity. She has years of training and experience in India Classical Dance. In 2015, she founded the Monsuun Dance Company, which specializes in Bollywood Dance. The experienced helped her grow her connection with Indian ethos.
She has executively produced feature films that premiered in competition at the Sundance Festival- Farewell Amor (2020) and The Sound of Silence in 2019; both released by IFC Films and Global Distribution with MUBI and Sony International, respectively. Her first project for production was a Bollywood film Shoor Ahmi Sardaar in 2017. She was featured as a dancer in the movie.
She danced in an Award-winning Australian short film, Spice Sisters in 2016. She was also seen as a judge in Zee TV Asia Pacific Season 1 of Superstars Australia. Her Marathi language short film Maasa, released in 2022, has won an award and premiered at Mumbai International Film Festival. She founded the Jumka Films Production company in Sydney.
