Nitin Makasare is an Indian film director and producer best known for his work on Kaalakaandi (2018) and Budh (Awakening). From 2003 until 2006, he was an executive producer at UTV Software Communications Ltd., which produced the popular show "Shanno Ki Shaddi." From 2006 until 2008, he worked as a creative producer at Star Plus. From 2008 to 2009, he worked as the first assistant director at PVR and BR films.
From 2009 to 2010, he worked as a Creative Producer at Fox Television Studios India Private Limited. From 2010 until 2013, he was the Programming Head at Jago Mumbai 90.8 FM. From 2013 to 2014, he worked as a Creative Producer at Gauru-The Film, CFSI. He was the executive producer of the web series "The Union." He is presently employed at White Waters Films as a director and executive producer.
