Niraj Vikram

Niraj Vikram is a scriptwriter, director, and producer, known for Motu Patlu: King of Kings and K Yo Maya Ho.

Vikram pursued his studies at the Central School Agra Cantt. The screenwriter pursued a degree in law at Chhattisgarh Law College. During his college days, he was pretty active in cultural programs and wrote and acted in stage plays.

Vikram’s first job was his stint with Gulf Air where he worked as a station security officer for about seventeen years. In 1995, he joined Fable Spinners Studio and JRV Films, where he works as a writer, director, and producer.

In 2000, he joined Maya Digital Studios (P) Ltd. as a writer, script consultant, director, and producer. Besides working with other studios, Vikram joined Nick Channel as a scriptwriter in 2011.

Bankrolled by SGS Entertainment, the film focuses on four characters Ram, Shyam, Sita, and Gita who are also friends. They wish to live together in Pokhara and therefore search for apartments. However, when they cannot get apartments for single men, they decide to move in with their girlfriends.

Ram and Sita move into an apartment as a couple and Gita and Shyam also live together. However, they are in a tough spot when their parents decide to visit them.

Vikram wrote the screenplay for the 2016 comedy animation movie Motu Patlu- King of Kings, helmed by Suhas D. Kadav. Bankrolled by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures and Cosmos-Maya, the film revolves around Motu and Patlu who help a lion named Guddu Ghalib return to the forest inhabited by a poacher.

Vir: The Robot Boy is a 2013 kids’ adventure animation television series that saw Niraj writing both the screenplay and the story. The series, helmed by Suhas Kadav, is about Vir, a robot kid who has qualities of and experiences emotions like a normal human being. The humanoid robot was created by Dr. Prem Sahay to help people and is blessed with superhuman abilities. Along with Vir, the series also features Chulbul, a donkey, Gintu, a genie, and Imli.
