, Motu Patlu King of Kings is an animated children film and is directed by Suhas D Kadav. Now let’see whether this film charms us.
Plot
Motu and Patlu are two best buddies and stay in a small town in India. The town is called as Fufuri Nagariya. They develop friendly relation with a circus lion Guddu (whom they were afraid of before but later realize that he too has a soft heart) who is taking attempts to safeguard his kingdom from the greedy eyes of a poacher. What happens next forms the crux of the plot.

Analysis
Making a film on children is something adorable. But the irony is that filmmakers refrain from doing such films perhaps due to the reason that they may not become a commercial success. In this regard Motu Patlu King of Kings is a brave attempt.
Lotu and Potlu are known to Indians, thanks to Lotpot comics. This comic has been popular for more than 4 decades. And there are 10 Motu Patlu movies that are exclusively made for television and has been airing for over 4 years in the channel Nickelodeon. Therefore it would not have been a herculean task for the filmmakers to etch the characters since it’s already there.
