Nilima Eriyat is an acclaimed producer who has to her credit several honours for her movies Fisherwoman and Tuk Tuk, and The Basket.

The 15-minute animation film bagged the National Award for Best Animation Film in the Non-Feature Film category. The flick bagged the award in 2016 at the 63^rd National Awards. It also won the award for excellence at Tokyo Anime Awards Festival 2016.

The producer is also known for producing the 2017 animation short film The Basket or Tokri, helmed and scripted by Suresh Eriyat. The animation short flick secured the title for Best Animation Short Film at the 65^th National Awards in 2018.

She also has the credit of serving as an executive producer for the comedy short film Kandittundu, helmed by Adithi Krishnadas Bio coming soon... >> Read More... and scripted by her husband, Suresh Eriyat. The 12-minute Malayalam animation movie was released in 2021.

Nilima is an executive producer at Studio Eeksaurus, which she co-founded along with her husband Suresh in 2009. Before donning this role, she worked in advertising and filmmaking for about eighteen years.

She has been instrumental in promoting the studio, which produces short films and advertisements, to one of the top production houses in the country.
