He married a playback singer Neerja Pandit in 1988. He has two children, a daughter Shaarika and a son Raj. He is active from 1987 until present.

Ashoke Pandit worked for the first time in Bollywood industry as an Assistant art director in 1992 for the movie “Suryavanshi” and then in 1995 for the movie “Suraksha”.
