Rajkumar Rizvi and Indrani Rizvi, two Indian vocalists, gave birth to Runa Rizvi on November 19; 1979, in Bombay. She earned her degree from Mumbai's Mithibai College. Runa Rizvi is a Bollywood playback vocalist and classical singer from India. Sivamani, a percussionist, is Runa Rizvi's husband. She performs music from Bollywood, folk, and Sufi traditions. She is a member of the Kalavant Gharana and has had training in classical, semi-classical, and light classical music. She is also proficient in singing Western and Pop music, Hindi film songs, ghazals, thumri, folk songs, Punjabi, and Sufi music.
