Zishaan Akbar Latif is an accomplished photographer, filmmaker, and workshop facilitator, based in Mumbai and New Delhi. With over 18 years of experience, he has created visual content for production houses, corporates, and NGOs worldwide. Zishaan's passion for photography and filmmaking has taken him to various corners of the world, including Istanbul, Siem Reap, and Glasgow, where he has participated in prestigious photography workshops, exhibitions, and festivals. He has been nominated for several awards, including Prix Pictet, Joop Swart Masterclass, and Indian National Press Council Awards for Excellence in Journalism.
His photo stories, Solitary Splendour, Dreams and a Holiday, and My Bombay, have won accolades from the Media Foundation of India. In addition to his photography work, Zishaan has also worked on film stills for notable Bollywood movies such as PK, 3 Idiots, and Ferrari Ki Sawaari. He has also facilitated workshops on photography and filmmaking, including the Chennai Photo Biennale Urban Water workshop. Zishaan's work has been showcased in several exhibitions, including the India International Centre in New Delhi, the Red Earth Art gallery in Baroda, and the Obscura Photo festival in Penang. His solo show, 95 Mani Villa, was held at Gallery TARQ in Mumbai.
