Lal Mohammad and Iqbal were the Pakistani singers. The Pakistani composer duo consists of Lal Mohammad and Buland Iqbal. Lal Mohammad was born in 2003, and Iqbal was born in 1930. In 1950, they joined Radio Pakistan, where they composed music. Their mesmerized and soulful vocals were liked by many. Iqbal was the son of Ustad Bundu Khan, the well-known Sarangi player. They started their career with the film Bara Bajey (1962). Some of their famous songs were Gori Zara Phir Se Baja Payalya Peepal Ki Chhaon Main, Ae Abr-e- Karam Aj Itna Baras Kya Woh Jaa Naa Sakein, Hain Kahan Woh Kali, Socha Tha Pyaar Na Karein Gay, and Duniya Kisi Ke Pyaar Mein Jannat Se Kam Nahin. The duo was primarily remembered for their composition of music with the playback singer Ahmed Rushdi.

Iqbal's incredible passion and talent for music were so intense that he taught music to many people in Karachi, Pakistan. Lal Mohammad died on 29th September 2009, and Iqbal died on 25th July 2013.
