Urvashi, born on 27th January 1986 comes from a normal family belonging to Jammu and Kashmir. She began her career at a tender age. She has one younger brother and one younger sister. She says her parents and siblings have always been supportive for her.
Urvashi began her career about the age of 16 as a model. As a part of the modeling career, she participated in the Miss India Gladrags Model Hunt 2004, Runner-up at Princess North India in 2004, won Ms. Catwalk in 2003 and second runner-up at Miss Jammu and Kashmir contest 2004. Eventually, she began acting in movies. Urvashi got into the acting career after she joined a theater group called Sankalp. She then tried her hands on both Bhojpuri and Hindi movie industries.
