Tania Ahmed

Tania Ahmed is a talented actress who is known to be working in the Bangladeshi film industry. She was born in Bangladesh and has been working in the film and TV industry for the past twenty seven years. She was born on 20 December 1968. She started her career by venturing into modeling first.

She started modeling professionally in the year 1991. Samparko was the first TV drama with which Tania Ahmed debuted in front of the camera. Since her debut, Tania Ahmed has appeared in over 50 shows and serials in her career. Her notable appearances were in, Anandabari, Belabhumi, Amader, Srikanto, Ghunpoka, 69 and Shukhnagar Apartments.

These TV dramas gave a boost to Tania's career. She has also taken part in the direction of a few music videos and short movies. She directed the music video of songs Muhurto, Moyuree, Aar Koto Kandabe, and Uro Megh. In the world of films, Tania acted in a movie called Shyamol Chhaya. The movie, Shyamol Chhaya, was released in the year 2004.

Tania played the character of Ratri. Her performance won her Bachsas Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for this movie. She also acted in a movie called Mad_e in Bangladesh. Mad_e in Bangladesh was released in the year 2007. Tania played the role of Rowshan Ara. In recent years, she has been a part of a Bangladeshi show called Sikandar Box.

Tania played the role of Sikandar’s elder sister in the show. The show started in the year 2012 and ran until 2014. In the year 2011, she was also a judge on the TV content of the Veet Channel- I Top Model. It was in the year 2014 that Tania made her film directorial debut. She directed her first complete movie called Valobasha Emoni Hoy.

The movie was released in the year 2014. In the year 2016, she acted in a movie called Krishnopokkho. Zeba was the character played by Tania. Tania is married to the Bangladeshi singer S I Tutul since 1999 and they have two sons together, Sreyash and Arosh.
