Soundarya Jayamala is an Indian film actress. She is the daughter of Kannada film actress Jayamala and cinematographer H M Ramachandra. Her mother was the treasurer of the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce. She entered the silver screen and did her debut film “ Godfather Click to look into! >> Read More... ” for which she won the Suvarna Film Award for the Best Debut actress category.

Before entering the world of acting, Soundarya planned to strengthen and polish her skills, for which she did a refresher course at Kishore Namith Kumar Acting School, Mumbai. “Godfather” was a sequel to “ Varalaru Show Story Coming Soon...  >> Read More... ”, a hit Tamil movie directed by K S Ravikumar and featured Ajith and Asin. Soumya Bollapragada is an Indian actress, writer, director and model. She is the niece of actress Gouthami and great granddaughter of U.G. Krishnamurti. Her father’s name is Divakar, who is a Naval engineer. Her mother is a homemaker. She has a younger brother as well. Soumya graduated from St. Joseph’s College for women. She also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Psychology from Andhra University. She has a theatre background that helped her get into films, Telugu films primarily. She’s a girl endowed with poetic insight that made her swipe away three international awards in poetry. She had an expertise in Journalism as well. She ran a monthly magazine “Evoke” for three and half years in Vizag. Fascinated by and trying to pursue modeling as a career, she got trained under Koushik Ghosh. Soumya made her starring debut in the cross over the film (Hyderabadi Urdu) named “The Angrez”. She enacted the role of an assistant surgeon in the English film “Stalemate”. Her first Tamil film was “Thozhas”, in 2008. She had a vital and significant role in Ravi Krishna starring NetruIndruNaalai. In 2011, Soumya essayed the character “Mohini” in the Telugu film “Mugguru”. As of now, she is excited enough and waiting the release of “Poga”, a 4D horror film and “Ramadandu”.
