Mahnaz Damania

Mahnaz Damania is an Indian actress, model, and theatre artist, who was born and brought up in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She studied at Saint Xavier school. She has worked in the regional stagecraft. She has also spent three years as an international Flight Attendant. She got trained for stagecraft and camera technique from the Stella Adler Studio. In New York, she was part of the Broadway production of Sakharam Binder. After that, she came to Mumbai to become a model, and here she participated in a reality show called “Kingfisher International Supermodel 2”.

She made her acting debut with the movie The Bride of Humpty Sharma in 2014 and played the character of Alia Bhat's sister. She has been part of various theatre plays like Shikhandi, Charulata, Chitra, Dog sees God, three women, the story of the In-betweens.  She has also a trained dancer who specialized in Bharatnatyam, Koodinattyam, and Kuchipudi. She has performed in a music video called Beautiful Mind in 2017, which was a huge hit. She worked on Class Act-a a young playwrights workshop with Traverse Theatre (Edinburgh) and RAGE Productions (India), commissioned by the British Council as part of the India/UK Year of Culture in January 2017.

She helped formulate the suggestions of budding playwrights under the direction of some of her theatre instructors in Mumbai while discovering more about the revolution with the team from Traverse.
