Born on Solapur, India, Sarala Yeolekar is an Indian veteran actress, who has acted in over 150 movies in the Marathi, Hindi, and Gujarati film industries. In the Bollywood industry, she is best known for her item song in the 1987 movie, Dance Dance. She is known for her works in the films Mulgi Lagnachi Aahe(2007), Janma Kundali(2003), and Maru Sasriyu Sonani Khan(1998).
She has done various Hindi films, including Commando(1988), Nishchaiy(1992), Zinda Dil(1975), Kasam Khoon Ki(1977), and Determination(1992). She was a part of the play called Ashi Vasti Ashi Manasa. In 2016, she was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Dadasaheb Phalke Trust.
