Sajni Hanspal

Sajni Hanspal was first seen in a movie called ‘Suryast’ in 1995. The movie stream seems not to work for her, and she soon turned to television. Television, in turn, proved much beneficial for her. The bagged many shows on television but not in the main lead. She always played the supporting character in the series. He had her hands full with serials like ‘Kahi Diyaa Jale Kahi Jiyaa’ on Sony TV. Sajni played the character of Gehna. Gehna was elder sister of Payal (Main lead of the serial). She was then seen in ‘Chandan Ka Palna, Resham Ki Dori’ on Zee TV. It was a creation from Sankraman Telefilms. This was a 98episode long series and was aired on 19th March 2001. It is allegedly said that the stories concept was similar to a Bollywood movie called ‘Chori Chori Chupke Chupke(2001)’. Sajni played the character of Nirang’s wife in the series. Later she did ‘Aek Chabi Hai Pados Me’ where she was in controversies because of her clashes with actress Amita. Amita said she found Sajni touching her things many a time without taking her permission which made her furious and one final day she made it to her. Sajni remained calmed at this time and said she did not know about Amita on this part. But she was hurt that Amita made this issue public.
