The Indian based Canadian model Mannu Sandhu is efficient in the world of acting and fulfils the role of an efficient producer. Along with her family, she moved to Vancouver from Chandigarh, where she had completed high school and graduated. After her studies, she became a member of the parliament, from where she chose her career as a correctional officer, apart from polishing her skills in fashion. Her first feature film was in 2011, Footsteps into Gangland, based on actual events. In this film, she portrays the character of Mya, a teenager. The latter waits for their release from the foster house and her abusive foster father, occasionally indulging in the intake of various drugs. After this, two more films lined up for her, which she had worked on in her second film, Saadi Wakhri Hai Shaan, where she played the character of Rashi, a jolly woman.
The third film is called Maple Heart, and she plays the role of Rima. Apart from her achievements on screen, she has always wanted to give something back to society and has always tried to look for opportunities to do the same. Her notable actions toward the community include providing donations to non-profit organizations and travelling back to India to help the children. Through her success at being the finalist at the Miss B.C. pageant(2009), the first runner up at the Miss Moella Canada Beauty Pageant(2010) and being shortlisted as one of the top 16 participants at Miss Universe Canada, she managed to raise funds for SOS Children's Village and other humane deeds. Her extreme passion and love for her work give her the opportunities she needs as she plans to bring the natural tragedies and hardships to the screen through her work.
