Luna Lahkar is an Indian Actress. She belongs to Assam and is probably the only Assamese girl in Bollywood. She has done only a few films like ‘Hiya Diya Niya’, ‘Mumbai Mast Kallandar’ and ‘ United Six Click to look into! >> Read More... ’. After the success of her first movie – Hiya Diya Niya, she headed to Delhi from her hometown Namrup. She did multiple modelling projects in Delhi and prepared herself for Indian cinema. She can be seen in many international ad campaigns and famous fashion and lifestyle magazines. After some time, she moved to Mumbai to pursue her dream in Bollywood. She has said in interviews that she always wanted to do something artistic and coming into the movie business helped her in the realisation and implementation of her dream.

The journey was not easy and she has suffered breakdowns and depressions. However, she is grateful to her mother for being her constant support system and encouraging her time and again. The former was released on the 14th January 2011 and the latter on 4th of February in the same year.
