The story of the movie is about Amar being possessive and protective of his sister Bina. Amar fixes his sister's marriage with a thief despite knowing that she wants to marry Raknedra. However, this conflict between the siblings leads to a lot of problems between both of them. After appearing in so many movies Ambika Gautam took a break for nine years from her career. In 1952 she got married to a sound recordist named J. B. Jagtap. This immensely talented soul left everyone on 18th January 2013 at the age of 84 after suffering from Alzheimer's disease.
