Her Height is 5' 6"" (1.68 m). Her dance teacher asked her to help him in teaching the dance classes when she was only 15 years old. Then she helped her coach in teaching classes and helped him for a few months. Then one day, she asked her coach to pay her for the work she did. But his coach declined to pay and did not pay her. Divya got angry and upset. She said some bad words inside her head and then she started to take everything into her own hands. She works very hard, and opened up her dance school, and named it as Shakti Dance Academy, and stole all of her teacher's students.

She got success from the school, and the profits from the school were later used to pay for theatre school. Shakti stands for ""Female Power.'' Divya used to train in New York at the Terry Schreiber Studio. And she continues to teach at Lee Strasberg, UCB and works privately with renowned coaches Larry Moss and Ted Sluberski. She has done season 1 of the CBS series, Bull, and season 4 of the Showtime series, Billions. She had also done campaigns for brands such as Marriott Hotels, Procter & Gamble, Brisk Iced Tea, Verizon, Kate Spade, Ritz Carlton, Knolls Furniture, CeraVe Lotion, Intercontinental Hotels Group, and several others.
