Payal Ghosh

Payal Ghosh is an Indian actress largely known for her work in Telegu film industry. She was born in Calcutta in on 13th November 1989. She completed her schooling in Kolkata at St. Paul’s Mission School and later from Scottish Church College where she did her graduation in Political Science from Scottish Church College. She gave her first audition for acting when she was a mere 17 for Sharpe’s Peril and bagged the role in the BBC telefilm. The role was small but it was the start of something big and after that she never looked back.

She did this role in the year 2008 and later joined Namit Kishore’s Acting Academy, where she got the stint to work in Telegu blockbuster ‘Prayanam’ where she was the lead role along with Manoj Manchu. The movie along with her earned positive reviews and made her famous within days; people started knowing her by the name of Harika from the movie. This became the other name one of the other names of her. She then did a Kannada film called ‘Varshadhaare’ in 2010. There were rumors of her being caste as Parveen Bhabhi in her biographical movie, which at the moment is at halt.
