Rumana Molla

"Rumana Molla is a Bollywood actress who has worked in notable films in a short span of time. She is not only an actor, but she is also a dancer trained in Jazz, Tap, Bharat Natyam, Bollywood, and Hip-hop and has worked as an anchor as well. Well equipped in the Bengali, English, French, Dutch, and Hindi languages, Rumana Molla started working in 2013 in the Balaji Production film Ek Villain where she played the role of a college student. Following her work in Ek Villain, Rumana Molla got the opportunity to work in Pyar Ka Punchnama 2 in 2015.

She played the role of Ruchi, a friend of Chiku ( played by Nusrat Bharucha). However, she got recognition soon after when she starred in the National award-winning film Irada in 2017. This was the film where she shared the screen alongside popular actors like Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Sharad Kelkar and more. Rumana Molla got the chance to work in the film Safarnama directed by Nikhil Agnihotri and produced by Cutting Coffee Films. She was of the opinion that she could closely relate to the character that she was supposed to play and thus did not have to think much before she was on board for the production.
