Archana Joglekar is a very experienced Indian actress and classical dancer who has appeared in numerous Marathi and Hindi films and television series. Few of her noted films are 'Sansaar', 'Eka Peksha Ek' and 'Anapekshit'. She is a renowned Kathak dancer and choreographer. She has learned Kathak from her mother Asha Joglekar, who is also a noted Kathak danseuse and instructor. In 1994 Archana began writing and directing. She wrote and directed Marathi TV serial Awaghachi Sansar. In this serial, many well known actors like Prashant Damle, Vikram Gokhale, Savita Prabhune, Mohan Joshi, worked under her direction. This serial was very popular. In 1993, Archana wrote, produced and directed Hindi TV serial Samrajya. Since 1999, Archana migrated to USA and there she established her dance academy on the east coast. She has also established SAMVED EXAM BOARD for Indian classical art form for entire North America. There she is continuing her art pursuits in USA and also continues to perform Kathak. She has also played many roles in the tollywood industry where she has played many noteworthy characters. Along with Tollywood she has also acted in few Bangla films such as Jeeban Sangi.
