Only, Apoorva claims that she never prearranged her foray into the limelight of the Movie Business. She has never trusted in planning something in life; the artist explains that it was an acquaintance who encouraged her to go in for the screen trials. Pondering that this associate had always disheartened her from joining movies, she thought that she might as well give the idea a try. As luck would have it, she got chosen from hundreds of other candidates. After clearing the initial test in Delhi, Apoorva went over a nine-hour-long monitor test in Mumbai. While she was in the third year of university, she was chosen to fly as an air hostess with Jet Airlines.

It was an abrupt choice, and she just went with it. Then, one day, Apoorva decided to quit flying and start modeling. The decision of quitting her hostess job was spontaneous for her. A few attracting projects came her way, and she felt that it wouldn’t be a bad idea to take up modeling on a permanent basis. But she has no griefs about leaving a high-flying job to take up modeling. Since then, Apoorva has performed in a fair number of high-profile campaigns for prominent brands.
