Born to Anu and Shashi in Mumbai, Anushka Ranjan is a well-known personality in the TV industry. Her father set up the Indian Television Academy. After completing schooling, she joined Subhash Ghai’s Acting Academy program in acting and Roshan Taneja’s school. She also received formal training in Kathak. Anushka Ranjan walked over some of the ramps including the one at Lakme Fashion Week. She is said to be very fashion conscious, and her sense of style has received appreciation by many fashion experts. Regarding style, she consults her younger sister Akansha Ranjan, who is her best critic and a best friend too. She follows her mother, Anu Ranjan’s footsteps and recently organized a special program and lunch for the women achievers to celebrate the glory of womanhood in India since 15 years. This program lays stress on “BETI” movement to increase awareness about female foeticide and acid attack victims.
