Vipinno

Vipinno is an actor from Africa (Mozambique) who has a look like an Indian actor Danny Denzongpa. Vipinno is very shy in nature but could convincingly play the role as a human lethal weapon in film “Koyelaanchal” and has surprised many Bollywood villains too. 

He is Indian origin but brought up in Mozambique, Africa in an established business family. Right from childhood, he was interested in getting into Bollywood.  In Africa, he was a die-hard fan of Amitabh Bachchan and never missed any of his films. 

Luckily, he met Anupam Kher once when Anupam was shooting for a  film and explained his position and views to become an actor. Anupam then advised him to get enrolled in some acting school and get back to him. But the actor was adamant and told going to acting school will not be very practical for him. Thus, his struggling days had begun, and he had knocked every door of every filmmaker for seven long years in Mumbai. 

While seven years ago(2005), when he met the producer Ashu Trikha ( maker of Koyelaanchal), who was busy in his project ‘Baabarr’, he appeared for an audition and was selected for a small role.  While he was going to Lucknow for film shooting with the producer Aashu, he explained to the film-maker that he was not interested in doing minor roles but would prefer doing meaningful roles. Hearing Vipinno’s words, the film producer Asshu fired him and asked him to leave the project. Vipinno was heartbroken and spent five years without any work. It was again when Aashu started his project Koyelaanchal; he approached Vipinno for the role of a villain, and that is how Vipinno landed up in Bollywood. 

Right then, after the success of ‘Koyelaanchal’, he has been the choice of many Bollywood directors but was not interested in evolving as a busy actor but became quite choosy in the selection of scripts.  Before ‘Koyelaanchal’, the actor also had appeared in a film called ‘Tum Hi To Ho’( 2011), directed by Sanjay Goel which has Jackie Shroff playing the lead role. In this movie, Vipinno was introduced in Bollywood who resembled another Jackie Chan. 

After successful entry in Bollywood, the actor was signed for a project of an Australian film-maker Michael Petroni. The shooting for this film was in process. Petroni had met Vipinno in Los Angeles and had cast him. But what has happened to the future of the film is still not known! As enigmatic, as he is talented, Vipinno has always kept the details of his private life closely guarded.
