Milind Gawali is a popular film actor, producer, and director. He was born on June 16 and studied at Fatima High School in Vidhya Vihar. He also attended Sharda Ashram High School in Dadar and went to Ambedkar College for Commerce. When he was in the second year, he went to Kirti College, Prabhadevi and attended Lala Lajpat Rai College of Commerce in Worli before he took post graduation at The University of Mumbai. Ever since his childhood, it is always his passion to enter the filmdom. He even had the chance to act in two children movies, Hum Bachche Hindustan Ke and Waqt Se Pehle. Since then, his journey has started.
Milind has worked in ad films, voice-overs, modelling, dubbings, TV serials, TV ads, and corporate films, but his love for films remained constant. Pradeep Maini’s Hindi film, Vartaman and Baburam Ishara’s Anumati eventually came his way. That’s when the time when the television serials became a hit, and Sanjeev Bhattacharya invited him to perform in the television serial, Campus. Its success led him to perform in several TV serials like Parivartan, Aahat, C.I.D, Bandhan, Kahani Teri Meri, Itihas, and more. During that time, he started working in the Marathi films Aai, Nilambari, and Maratha Battalion simultaneously.
Milind has since acted and completed more than 65 Marathi and Hindi films. He also donned short films, documentaries and had acted in more than three thousand TV shows. He anchored television shows and had worked as Transmission Executive in All India Radio. Milind also worked in a short film entitled Did You Notice, and earned an Award at the Honolulu Film Festival. Aside from that, he bagged two Zee Talkies Awards (Vishesh Lakshavedi Kalakar) for his work in Ramesh More’s Aamhi Ka Tisare.
He also earned nominations at the Maharashtra State for Marathi Film, He Khel Nashibache and Zee Talkies for Marathi Film Bhavachi Laxmi and another nomination for Best Supporting Actor at Zee Talkies for Marathi Film, Sakha Bhau Pakka Vairi.
