Shraddha Shashidhar

Shraddha Sashidhar is an Indian model who was born on 3 September 1996 in Chennai, Tamilnadu. Shraddha completed her education in Saint Xavier's School and Army Public School. She completed Bachelor in Mass Media from Sophia College in Mumbai. Shraddha was crowned Yamaha Faustino Miss Diva Universe 2017. Apart from her scholastic achievement, she is a basketball player, who has played on the National, and the State-Level. She is also a Bharatanatyam dancer and loves to travel in many cities. She had taught Tibetan refugees at the Lha Charitable trust.

In the Miss Universe competition, she has competed against 71 contestants from various nations. Shraddha also participated in many fashion contests. She presented India’s national costume at Miss Universe 2017. She used the costume designed by Abu Jain Sandeep Khosla and Melvin Dominic Noronha. She says in an interview, “As Miss Universe, we have to be confident in, who we all are equal, and Miss Universe and Miss International are a woman that had overcome many fears, and by that we can to help other people to overcome their fears.” She loves to walk on stage, and she believes that the stage is the place where dreams come true. Shraddha is also a passionate orator and keen writer.

Owing to her defense background, she has had the privilege of traveling the lengths and breadths of our country due to which, she is very adaptive and comfortable with people around. She has studied in more than nine schools, which has given her immense exposure. She intends to explore her field of career and be a dedicated and hardworking person. In December 2014, she joined as a communication intern in Leo Burnett, India. She was the photographer at Kathmandu Festival and also worked for Planet Goa and DNA newspaper. In September 2015, she worked as a Head of Public Relations in Monophasic 2015. She had been a guest speaker, had some press releases and published about the event on digital newspaper.
