Pallavi Purohit is a gorgeous Indian actress who came from Mumbai and started her career as a model in year 2006. She has done television commercials and appear in a variety of Hindi and Malayalam films. Pallavi’s father came from Palakkad, India but the actress was raised up in Karnataka, India. She graduated Business Management and Hotel Management and started working at Oberoi Hotel at Bengaluru. Her real passion is singing but one day, she decided to become an actress and quits on her job in the hotel. She got married to Prashant Purohit in year 2010.
She has done television serials like Sati, Sanskaar, Parivaar and Paap Punya Ka Lekha Jokha. She was also seen in the horror series, Ssshhhh…Koi Hao and in the Hindi series, Santaan – Har Khushi Hai Tumse which was both aired on Star Plus. She acted as Dr. Sara on DD National’s Peehar and subsequently appeared as Namki in Raja Ki Ayegi Baraat. In 2009, the actress acted in the comedy series,

, also from DD National channel. She was also seen on NDTV Imagine’s Basera which stars

. Pallavi also works as Asha Sisodia on Sphere Origin’s daily soap, Jyoti on Imagine TV. Later, Pallavi donned the role of Rohini Patwardhan in the soap, Sapno Se Bhare Naina on Star Plus and she was also part of the drama soap, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Ek Junoon on Colors, where she bagged the role of Padmini Malik.
Pallavi later quit the show Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon to do a Malayalam film under the direction of V.K. Prakash entitled, Silence in year 2013. She played the role of Sangeetha opposite Arvind Chandrasekhar (played by Mammootty). Then, she donned the romantic Hindi film, Kaanchi: The Unbreakable and the Malayalam action-thriller film, Mr. Fraud in 2014.Â
In 2012, she received the Most Bhavuk Personality award at the Colors Golden Petal Awards.
