It was filmed in various places of Udaipur and importantly at the Fateh Garh Palace, winning the Best Reality Show award at the Indian Telly Awards presentation.
Luv Khanna has studied engineering and is from a modest family, his mother a housewife and his father, a retired person. Before appearing for the ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamwar’ reality show, he was working as a model and was walking romps, and also has done a few advertisements.
In the show, he has stated that he wanted to make it big in the glamour business, to become number one in whatever he did, and expressed his feelings that marriage is a lifelong commitment and his would be wife should be someone who would unite and look after the whole family, nurturing it. He also has reportedly said he is the kind of person who would think from his heart rather than his brain.
Though he was eliminated in the Pre pre final of ‘Rakhi Ka Swayamwar’ on 17th July itself, his name came up when Rakhi Sawant was asked whether she would regret the decision of dropping him since Luv Khanna had earlier expressed his ‘undying love’ for her. She reportedly had replied that she has received letters from several women who wrote not so favorably about him, and she went on to describe Luv Khanna as one of those ‘poor quality suitors’.
