Niti Mayer

Niti Mayer is a skilled Media and Entertainment lawyer, born on the 17 of October. She pursued law at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, and has gained recognition for her work on popular projects like “Mirzapur,” “Gold,” “Inside Egg,” released in 2017, and “Made in Heaven,” a TV series. She holds the position of Senior Legal Counsel at Excel Entertainment which is a prominent Broadcasting company based in Mumbai, India.

Before this, she was a legal professional at Sony Pictures Networks, India, and also worked as a legal intern at Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd. During her tenure at Multi Media Pvt. Ltd., she was responsible for drafting numerous Television and Film agreements, Notices, and trademark applications, among the other tasks. She also provided legal opinions and researched various topics related to Copyright and Trademark. Niti also worked as an intern in the Banking and Finance team in 2011 at Luthra and Luthra Law Firm.

In the early days of her career, Niti worked on the Rights to Education Manual for CRY and volunteered for the Anti-Child Labor campaigns. She collaborated with various restaurants and hotels to raise funds for the campaigns and helped underprivileged children. During this philanthropic work, Niti spread awareness of Child Rights and the Right to Education.

Later on, Niti opted for different courses to hone her skills, such as a Diploma in Cyber Law and Intellectual Property. She then joined different firms to apply her gained knowledge. Besides her education, Niti simultaneously did her internships at Child Rights and You (CRY) IN 2011, Advocate Anil Menon and Associates in 2012, Luthra and Luthra Law Firm in 2013, and Naik and Naik Co. in 2014. She was hired later by Multi Screen Media Pvt Ltd. (Sony Entertainment) in 2014 where she assisted in drafting various Television series and Films. In 2015, she achieved promotion to senior legal executive. Working with reputed company like Sony Entertainment enhanced her resume. Since 2022, Niti has been working with Excel Entertainment Pvt Ltd as a legal Assistant Vice President, bringing her valuable expertise from previous experiences.
