Krishna Mohan Sharma is a well-known face in the world of television journalism. People know him more by the name of 'KM.' He did his graduation with zoology and botany from Gorakhpur University and gained a master's in genetics from Delhi University. However, he shifted to journalism and proceeded with another master's degree in mass communication from Alagappa University before pursuing a Ph.D. in mass communication and Media Studies from the Central University of Assam. Just six months after he began his career as a reporter with 'IN Time' of Hinduja Group in 1998, the management appointed KM Sharma as the chief reporter. Here he created panic in Delhi by revealing a deadly disease named 'Epidemic Dropsy,' after which the BBC interviewed him too.

KM Sharma also worked as a reporter in the Delhi Bureau of 'Amar Ujala' for over a year. In 2005, he launched the first popular TV channel, 'Total TV' in Delhi-NCR. He surprised the Ministry of Home Affairs by covering the death toll in the serial blasts in Delhi. He achieved new heights by starting the program 'Aap Ka MLA' as an anchor-reporter on Total TV. In 2006, KM Sharma got an opportunity to work on the TV Today Network (Aaj Tak). On seeing his efficiency, the management made him the Chief of the Delhi Bureau within two years. He reported news like Nirbhaya gang rape, Commonwealth Games scam, Sonia Gandhi's admission to AIIMS, Delhi serial blast, etc.

Sharma specializes in the art of getting people to work along with being punctual. He became the Political Editor of News Nation at the end of 2013. The channel made a lot of progress under his able leadership. But due to internal politics, he decided to leave News Nation in 2016. Six months later, he got an opportunity to join JK 24×7 News (National Hindi News). Here he led the editorial team of around 200 people from 2016 to 2018 and was instrumental in increasing the channel's TRP. In 2019, he joined Rajya Sabha TV as the executive producer, and he continues to work there to date. He has also written several books on management.
