Mehak Oberoi

Mehak Oberoi is a makeup artist and hairstylist and she is the daughter of Jyoti Oberoi, a fashion designer. She owns a brand named Pirohi. Mehak was born and brought up in Delhi. When she was in school she suffered from dyslexia and attention deficit disorder (ADD). Mehak was always interested in the fashion industry and wanted to make a career in hairstyling. She wanted to study make-up artistry at a foreign university but she was not able to get permission from her father. Then she enrolled herself in Pearl Academy in a diploma course in Delhi to study fashion makeup media. After completing her course she joined Inglot Cosmetics to work in the retail department but she didn't stay there for a long duration.

She worked with Renuka Pillai (a famous makeup artist) as her assistant. She also did freelancing along with her assistant job. She wedded Manish Shah, a businessman, on 27 December 2020. Her first independent project in Bollywood was with actress Chitrangada Singh for a one day shoot and after that, she was booked for sixteen days. She has associated with various celebrity actresses for work such as Tara Sutaria, Sonakshi Sinha, Malaika Arora, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nora Fatehi and many more. In Bollywood films, magazine cover shoots, red carpet looks, and television commercials, Mehak has demonstrated her mastery. According to Mahek, her biggest break-in Bollywood industry was when she was approached by the manager of the actress Anushka Sharma to do her makeup for a photo shoot, which she revealed in an interview.

Mehak won the Dadasaheb Phalke Awards for Best Makeup Artist of the year 2020 and the Vogue Beauty Awards for Best Makeup Artist of the year 2020.
