Archana Kochhar is a renowned fashion designer of Indian origin. She was born in 1972. Her designs have been showcased on both national and international runways, including at events such as Lakme Fashion Week, India Fashion Week, and New York Fashion Week. She has collaborated closely with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on various projects, including the Make in India campaign, and has worked with tribal women weavers to produce the unique Ahimsa silk fabric, which she has showcased at the New York Fashion Week. Archana is also a goodwill ambassador for the Smile Foundation in support of girl child education. She has been awarded the Anokhi Excellence in Design 2015 award in Toronto, Canada, and was conferred with the Fashion Designer of the Decade title at the India Leadership Conclave 2015.

In addition to her impressive fashion career, she has also been involved in promoting important social causes through her designs. For instance, she has used her platform to raise awareness about acid-burned victims through the Bring Beauty Back movement, featuring acid-survivor Reshma Qureshi on the runway.
