Rashmi Ranjan Mohanty, son of Rajkishore Mohanty, belongs to Cuttack city of Odisha. He is a senior sub-editor associated with Odisha Television Limited. Mr. Mohanty completed his Master’s in Journalism and Mass Communication from Ravenshaw University, situated at Cuttack. Before joining Odisha Television Limited, he was a trainee sub-editor in Contify and later worked with other channels as well, some of them are Zee News English, where he worked as an assistant producer, with ETV Bharat as a senior content editor, Times of India and also worked as a city reporter in Times Neighbourhood Cuttack.
He was also a Public relations intern in National Aluminium Company Limited in 2013 for two months. Besides being a senior sub-editor, he owns a small local business named Rashmi Photography and has his own YouTube channel, Odia Badhia, which revolves around Odia food, games, lifestyle, sports, and cinemas. Through this channel, he is promoting Odia culture and showing his love for it.He also has a keen interest in politics, international affairs, and cricket and is very active in sharing this information on his social media handles.
