DJ Lemon is an Indian Disk Jockey, who became popular for his original compositions of beats and synths. His real name is Anil Chainani and he was born and brought up in Kolhapur. At 17, he usually sneaks out to perform with some of his DJ friends. He never had any formal training and just learned to remix by his own. DJ Lemon has spent countless sleepless nights just to learn the art of mixing and mashups. When he started making mixes, he uploaded it online to see how people will react. Aside from remixing, DJ Lemon is now teaching aspiring DJs and founded the Lemon: Music & DJ Academy to educate the music enthusiasts. His first passion was electronic music, but he realized that the audience would want different music styles, so he mastered various styles; from commercial club Bollywood to deep and progressive house. He is one of the few Indian DJs who’s creating his own compositions through remixing, thus presenting an all new dimension to his own production. He shot to fame for his remixes of Tum Hi Ho (from Aashiqui 2), Balam Pichkari (from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani), and the songs from his Love Redefined series (2010).
