Shibu Prusty was born in 1980. He's one of the national award-winning film directors. The director won the National award in the 64th National Film award 2017. In the art culture film category, he won a National award for his Odia documentary feature film, The Lord of the Universe. He pursued his diploma in cinematography, master in journalism and mass communication first-class, and is presently working as a cinematographer in Hindi films and TV Shows.
While he was doing Marine engineering,he developed an interest in film creating and opt for cinematography as his career. He did it in Biju Patnaik Film and TV Institute in Cuttack. SK Sahu is his Guru. After three years of learning, he began his career in the Mumbai film industry with Rajlaxmi Film production; then, he worked in numerous production homes like Talesmith, the square peg films, and others.
