Sarim Momin

Sarim Momin, often pronounced as Saarim Momin, is a screenplay writer and lyricist who was born on 10 December 1978. Sarim was born and brought up in Mumbai. Apart from being the screenplay writer, he is also the filmmaker and director. He has worked with acclaimed music directors like Pritam, Prasanna Shekhar, Bapi Tutul, Amir Mohile, etc. He transformed from screenplay writer to film writer and director in 2012 from his debut film ARZI. This movie not only became a super hit of the year but also won three Awards titled Best Picture, Best Actress, and Best Actor in the Hollywood Moving Pictures Film Festival of Los Angeles.

He was also nominated as 'Best Lyricist' for Indian Television Academy' in 2012.
