Santosh Babusenan is a renowned film producer, director, and writer since the early 90s. He is known for The husband the wife and their two dead son (2022), darkness (2019), and Ottayal Paatha (2016). Santosh lives in Thiruvananthapuram Taluk, Kerala, India. He has done his Ph. D in Flim Narratology from the Institute of English from the year 1988 to 1993. Other than direction and production he works is also seen in the music industry with MTV and Star Network. He is working as Managing Partner at the Fifth Element, A production house in India.
Twilight Dream, a short film, co-directed by Mr. Babusenan, was selected for Mumbai International Film Festival and for the Split Film Festival, in Croatia. Chaayam Poosiya Veedu is the first feature by the Babusenan Brothers. Generally, Babusenan’s films are mainly based on existential and ethical issues of societies. His work is also seen in Maya (2021), The Pretty Eyed Girl (2019), Lost (2017), The Narrow Path (2016), and The Painted House (2015).
