Sanjoy Nag is an Indian film director/actor, who was born on March 18th. He got the National Film Award for his first feature film Memories in March 2011. Sanjoy Nag was born and raised in Kolkata, West Bengal. He finished his school education from St James’ School. Sanjay continued commerce from the University of Kolkata.
He got linked with the Bengali movie and television industry from a young age. Sandip directed the album Priyo Bondhu with Nima Rahman and Anjana Dutt. During 2011, he started his first feature film Memories in March which got him the National Film Award in the category of Best Feature Film in English. He appeared in Rituparno Ghosh’s movie on Guru Rabindranath Tagore. He worked as an associate director for Rituporno Ghosh's award-winning movie Chitrangada and Anjana Dutt's movie Badadin.
