Sandeep Choudhary is one of the eminent directors in the entertainment package in India, especially in Hindi television and film fraternities. He was born on 12th June 1979 in Jaipur – the Pink City of Rajasthan, India. After completing his primary and secondary education in his hometown, he went to Delhi University to pursue a degree in Media Studies which brought him to his preferred filmmaking course. Sandeep started his career around 2002, initially working as an assistant director for numerous Hindi TV shows. His noticeable features of attention to detail and good narrative skills enabled him to work his way up through the ranks. He was soon promoted to a full-time director, responsible for directing not just individual TV shows as well as films that were warmly received by viewers. He has directed a variety of television dramas, including both daily soaps and thrillers.
Among his many productions, some worth mentioning are episodes of the widely-watched TV series Crime Patrol. He’s also famous for directing Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi that also gave him the experience working with a large cast and managing complex plots. Besides television, Sandeep has also ventured into filmmaking as well. His short film, Talaash, was well-received by both audiences as well as the critics mostly because the short movie had a tight storyline and relatable characters. Sandeep Choudhary has played an instrumental role in the Indian television industry, and his dedication is credited for the strong relationships he built with actors and writers in the creation of works which have great impact. Sandeep is married with two children. He has always been known for his elusive nature, preferring to stay out of the limelight and concentrate more on directing.
