The short film Laddoo’s script was written by Pankaj Chaturvedi. Actually Sameer and Kishore Sadhwani met with Pankaj in 2013, where Pankaj narrated the short film story to Sameer and Kishore Sadhwani, they also loved the subject of the short film. Then they never had a chance to meet Pankaj after that. But Sameer gave the credit of writing an amazing story to Pankaj.

He started his career with the film Hat trick, which is a sports drama film directed by Milan Luria and produced by Ronnie Screwala. It ran for more than 50 days on the Diwali weekend. It won the 64th National Film award and the Shanghai International Film festival in 2017. Shiva is a skilled mountaineer. One day he meets with Olga and saves her from an avalanche. They fall in love with each other. Olga becomes pregnant, but she does not want the child.
