Reema Sengupta, the founder of a Mumbai-based production house, Catnip, made waves at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival with her recent short film, Counterfeit Kunkoo. The film established her forte as a writer and director and earned her 37 awards at 115 International festivals. Sengupta took a keen interest in screenwriting from her childhood days. It also helped her shape her career. She is a director of over 250 videos (which she had also penned), and she has worked for prestigious brands like Uber, Netflix, Tissot, Jeep, Bacardi, Singleton Whiskey, Breezer, and more. The young achiever has been part of the Hindustan Times 30 under 30 for her immense contribution as the Mumbai-based writer-director-editor. Sengupta is a poet, a dancer, and the mother to three rescued kittens.
