Prateek Prajosh is an Indian actor and a known filmmaker. He appeared on Comedy Central’s show “The Living Room” (Nov 2014- Dec 2014) in 4 of the telecasted episodes. Qualities inbuilt of a director, a producer, and an actor has already started to showcase the young talent. Prajosh has a degree in MBA, media and entertainment from Vancouver Film School with specialization in film production.

He was the business development head of an online venture for the South Indian region. (2012-2013). In March 2015, Bangalore, Prateek assistant directed a Van Heusen ad, which was highly appreciated. Later in 2016, he also assisted a big-budget Vodafone ad film. His acting skills apart from the comedy front was seen in the movie “Angie,”an independent feature film, shot in Bangalore.

As an independent director, Prateek Prajosh made a documentary film (2014-2016) titled “Only Sometimes A God.” The movie was self-financed.The documentary questions the prevalence of “Theyyam” an art form performed in Kerala. Prateek is currently working as an assistant producer to Viacom18 Media Private Limited since 2016 and has shown his work in movies like Andhadhun, Padmavaat, Manto, and Rangoon.

He made his first short film in March 2020 named “Rawas,” which was praised and loved by the audience. The movie focused on sexual assaults like rape on men. Prajosh states his skills have always been inspired by the people around him and his judging capabilities to look at the bigger picture. Delivering the results within the required time frame, this highly focused and talented director is a bright future for the industry.

Prateek is an Indian filmmaker. He was born in Bangalore, India, and bought up in the Middle East. After completing his school from the Delhi Private School, Dubai, He returned to India to accomplish his dreams and work on his passion. Studied Media and Entertainment Management from the Manipal University and afterward, completed his MBA from Christ University. But that was still not enough for him, his zest to learn took him to the Vancouver Film School. Prateek was first seen on television in the show ‘The Living Room’, which was produced by the comedy central and lasted for one season.

Coming back to India, Prateek started to work on his first feature documentary film named ‘Only Sometimes a God’ which he attributes to his grandmother. He is also a theatre enthusiast and a Dog Lover. He has worked with several companies which include Most Viral Media, Center stage Super Humanz and joined Barking Dog Productions in the year 2011. Prateek tied a knot to Asmita Saokar in the year 2018. He seems to encourage his family and friends and is always seen pushing them forward by promoting their work on his social media accounts.
