In the year 2007, he was associated as a creative director for movie '50 Lakh' which spoke about a hijacker who holds a reward upon his head for his capture. It was in the year 2010, his debut as an independent director with ‘Accident’ on ‘Hill Road' was done for which he wrote the story or screenplay. The producer of this film was Nari Hira, starring  Abhimanyu Singh, Farooq Sheikh, and Celina Jaitley as the cast.

This film was a remake of Hollywood movie 'Stuck'.
